Companies in Switzerland today need to implement innovations faster while also running their IT securely, reliably and efficiently. To keep supporting its customers with a comprehensive, high-performance offering for their business and technology challenges, Swisscom is further developing its B2B business. In doing so, it is sharpening its focus on two priorities:

As of 1 January 2027, the Swisscom Business Customers organizational unit will place greater emphasis on its core competencies and its positioning as the digital backbone of Switzerland: secure connectivity, security, cloud, AI computing, IT outsourcing, IT infrastructure services, and industry expertise in financial services, the public sector and defense.

At the same time, as of 1 April 2027, Swisscom will combine selected consulting, technology and software capabilities from Swisscom Business Customers with the expertise of existing Swisscom subsidiaries (Axept Business Software AG, JLS Digital AG, Swisscom IT Services Finance Custom Solutions AG (SFS) and OWT) under the umbrella of Swisscom Digital Technology AG.

A stronger partner for digital and AI transformation

Swisscom Digital Technology AG will become a specialized digital and AI transformation partner with an integrated offering in strategy and technology consulting, customer and digital experience, data and AI, process automation, business applications and software engineering.

Patrick Minder, currently a member of the Business Unit Management of Swisscom Business Customers, will take over as head. Swisscom Digital Technology AG is an existing Swisscom subsidiary that currently operates in the market under the OWT brand. In the future, the company will operate under the following brands: Swisscom Digital Technology AG, JLS Digital AG and Axept Business Software AG.

Pierre Grydbeck, currently Managing Partner and CEO of OWT, will join the future Executive Board of Swisscom Digital Technology AG: “By joining forces, we are building Switzerland’s leading AI and digital transformation partner and scaling our Alpha Factory even further. Our clients will benefit from having one partner that brings AI to every step from strategy through implementation to support.”

Patrick Minder, designated CEO of Swisscom Digital Technology AG, adds: “We are uniting parts of Swisscom Business Customers with OWT, Axept, JLS Digital and SFS to form the leading digital and AI transformation partner for Swiss business. With greater proximity and increased agility, we will support our customers even more precisely going forward.”
